Description: To avoid the midday heat, we will leave Panajachel early in the morning and take a boat to San Pedro la Laguna. From there we will start our climb. The hike is a moderate one, leading you on tranquil paths through the jungle and past coffee plantations. Vegetation and animals are abundant in this area, making it possible to spot endemic species like a bird known as the Chub Turkey. Reaching the top of the volcano you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the lake and its surrounding volcanos. This unforgettable tour takes about 6 hours and can’t be missed during your stay in Panajachel!
